(Hawaii - Kamehameha III). A true copy of Royal Patent No. 43 (issued in 1849), 4 pp in Hawaiian, 16" x 10", Honolulu, 21 Oct. 1890. A transaction with John G. Lewis relative to land at Kulanakauhale, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. Good; tape repairs at edges of folds; one fold split, and overall toning. Signed by C.N. Spencer as Minister of the Interior, with the Royal Seal. Page 2 has a small map of the land involved.Spencer was appointed as Minister of the Interior in June 1890 by King Kaladaua and reappointed to the same position by Queen Liliuokulani in February 1891.
