Lot 726

1853 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. Arrows and rays. Sharpness of MS-60 but with a few light obverse scratches. A very eye-appealing coin that has splendid blue toning around the rims, russet next, fading to satiny silver at the center. Lustrous fields and well struck throughout. The only problem is a group of minor scratches in the right obverse field, which are light, but there nevertheless. As to the reverse, it is without a blemish. An important and popular type coin.

Realized $345
