1878 Indian Head Cent. Proof 63 Red and Brown. As 1878 unfolded, the national economy regained its footing, and mintages crawled back up to higher levels when compared with 1877. Proof mintages revived to 2,350 in 1878. This particular coin has light wood-grain toning over mirror fields and well struck devices. Free of problems or spots.
