1846 Coronet Head Cent. Tall date. . N-14, R2. VF-30. Sharpness EF40 but lightly cleaned and nicely retoned glossy reddish chocolate brown. Excellent eye appeal and probably undergraded as VF30. The only marks are a small spot of darker toning in the curl at the middle of the neck and a barely visible rim bruise under the 4 in the date. LDS, die state b, with a rim cud break below the 18. CC#4 of 7 known in the die state.
