1846 Coronet Head Cent. Tall date. . N-12, R1. VF-35. Five points sharper with some minor contact marks on the obverse, including a pair of very short scratches under star 2. Nice glossy medium brown. LDS, die state h, with a bold rim cud break from star 2 to star 5 and another equally strong one from star 5 to star 6. Third finest of only 11 known, and the cuds on several of those are weak. Another very important die state for the advanced collector of late date cents.
