1840 Coronet Head Cent. Small date. . N-1, R2. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. Frosty medium brown and chocolate. Satiny and very attractive. The only mark is a barely visible speck of reddish verdigris at the dentils right of star 12. Nicely struck E-MDS, die state a, with recutting visible under the left side of the 8 in the date. EAC grade MS60+ and tied for CC#4. Pop 4; 7 in 64 BN, 1 in 66 BN.
