1839 Coronet Head Cent. . N-8, R1. MS-60 Head of 1840
Head of 1840.
Very attractive lustrous light bluish steel brown with traces of faded mint color showing through in the protected areas. Choice except for a tiny, very light pinscratch from the dentils into the field over star 4. Small spots of darker steel brown toning at the top and bottom of star 5 are the only other notable marks. Nicely struck E-MDS. Excellent eye appeal for the grade.
