1839/6 Coronet Head Cent. . N-1, R3+. Fine-12 Plus. Glossy light olive brown with sea-green overtones. Smooth and attractive showing only a few minor contact marks consistent with the grade. The only notable marks are a pair of ticks or planchet flakes in the field right of star 2. Early die state, Newcomb state I, before the obverse die cracked. The overdate is bold. Very nice for the grade, close to F15.
