Lot 3741

1934, $10 World War II Emergency Note. . Fr-2308. . KL-2259. A crisp, brilliant example of the very rare 1934 issue, the first yellow seal variety that was quickly superceded by the 1934-A series (the one usually offered for sale). A truly splendid example with three broad margins and one (at right) that is narrower. Full, smudge-free originality with only a faint fold away from full Crisp detail. Worth a strong premium in today's active market.
Estimated Value $7,000 - 8,000.
