1922-S Peace Dollar. NGC graded MS-66. A frosty white gem. This otherwise readily available Peace dollar is a noteworthy condition rarity at or above the MS65 level of preservation. The majority of Mint State survivors from the 17.4 million-coin production are plagued by poor strike and usually many bagmarks. This lovely MS66 representative, however, is smooth in virtually all areas with detail that is as full as one could hope for in the issue. The frosty textured surfaces are vibrant with a pleasingly silvery sheen. A wonderful example of this date. Pop 10; none finer at NGC.
