1892 Barber Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 64 PQ. A nice cameo coin. Untoned example. The surfaces are sleek with moon-glow luster, plus nice two-tone contrast between the frosted devices and reflective field, and show none of the muting often seen on Proof 64 quality Barber coins. Precision strike on every device, as well. 1,245 Proofs struck (mintage was slightly elevated in 1892 as it encompassed sales to first-time buyers wanting samples of the new Barber design).
