Lot 1040

1922-D Lincoln Cent. PCGS graded MS-66 Red & Brown. Almost full mint red. Iridescent pinkish coppery to full fire-red color resonate off of the surface of this nearly pristine Gem. Ideally as well, it is fully struck, with just outstanding detail at Lincoln's beard and coat, his bow tie, as well as the wheat ears on the reverse, where even the kernels of wheat show clearly. No other mint but Denver struck the Lincoln cent in 1922. Pop 1; the finest RB graded at PCGS for this year. (PCGS # 2538) .
Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,200.
