World War One Era Navy Officer's Dress Sword. Overall length is 37", with the 30 3/4" etched blade marked "Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co. Philadelphia". The gilt bronze guard with "USN" within an acorn leaf and fish design, with wire wrapped & white fish skin grip. The scabbard in black leather with gilt fittings in a knot design and a fish encircled tip. Average wear and some mild soiling, otherwise very Good, with the BB&B blade still very nice. Scarce.
