1892 Columbian Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-67. Beautiful violet and electric blue toning. From center to periphery the intense flood of fresh luster glows. The devices were struck with full-on power by the dies causing all design elements to show boldly. It suddenly comes home to us just how few high-end Columbian half dollars survive out of the original, seemingly large mintage of 950,000 pieces. Pop 25; 7 finer; 6 in 67 Star; 1 in 68.
