Late 19th century Prohibition Party Demorest Prize Medal. Two piece chain link medal in silver, aprox. 54mm x 35mm, hand engraved obverse and "Awarded to H.M.F." on rev. William Jennings Demorest and his wife Nell were prominent Prohibition Party activists and distributed medals to supporters of the cause and school children for pro-prohibition essays. Demorest died in New York in 1895. Very Fine.
