1909 Pseudo 1 Daalder of the Hudson Fulton Celebration. Silver, 21mm. Obv: K-80, a well executed facing bust of Fulton with his name above and dates, 1809-1909, at the truncation. rev: K-74, a galleon in full sail with legend "Nieuw Amsterdam MCMIX 1 Daalder". A trial strike on a larger flan, possibly for a pseudo coinage intended for use during the celebrations. Choice Mint State with superb deep steel-blue iridescent toning.
