Lot 4405

1886, $2 Silver Certificate. . Fr-242. . KL-123. As inferred by the lofty third-party grade, this note has attributes which will appeal to any collector. It has broad even margins, spectacular colors, and has bright overprint or embossing that is visible even through the encapsulated plastic holder. This "67" certainly looks spectacular to us, and is obviously one of the finer Hancock Deuces that the graders at CGA have ever seen. CGA graded Gem Crisp Uncirculated 67.
Estimated Value $3,900 - 4,100.

Realized $5,060
