1918 Illinois Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Nice white coin. A lustrous example of this relatively high mintage date, untoned and only mildly abraded; excellent silver color. A gem. The 1918 Lincoln uses the same obverse rim devices as that found on the standing Liberty quarters, a repetition of a dot-dash pattern that is very effective in balancing out the central devices. This is the only occurrence on a commemorative coin (PCGS # 9320) .
