Lot 3921

1871-CC $10 Liberty. PCGS graded AU-55. Only 8,085 minted. Well struck with light even gold toning. Usual amount of light marks for the grade. Pop 4; 1 in 58; 1 in 62. Elusive and quite costly as a high-end specimen in About Uncirculated, this fresh looking example is free of annoying rim bumps and has only a few small tics on the face and in the outlying areas. The strike, while complete on the stars and legends, is also well above par at the centers for the issue and both sides reveal copious amounts of luster (PCGS # 8661) .
Estimated Value $20,000 - 25,000.

Realized $25,300
