Jovian, 363-364 AD. Gold Solidus (4.48g), Sirmium mint, 363-364 AD. Rare (R3)! Diademed, cuirassed, and draped bust right. Reverse: Jovian in military attire left, holding globe and Chi-Rho labarum, regardant captive at feet. RIC 109. Strike just a whisker soft in the hair, otherwise excellent details with fields fully and brightly lustrous. Well centered on ample flan, with great eye appeal. An outstanding example of this rarity.
