"Proto-Tortoise." Turtle with globular segmented shell, and pointed hindquarters, seen from above. Reverse: "Early Union Jack" -- eight-part divided quadripartite incuse. SNG Delepierre 1838; Milbank pl. I, 6. Bold strike, on excellent metal. Handsome old toning. Extremely Fine.
