Thracian Kingdom. Koson, c. mid-1st century BC. Gold Stater. Roman consul left, accompanied by two lictors; BR monogram at left. Reverse: Eagle holding wreath left. RPC I 1701; BMC p. 208, 2; BMCRR II p. 474, 48. Nice even strike, with complete devices. Coin as struck, and softly lustrous. ICG graded MS-64.
