Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.09g), Side, struck c. 325-320 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Reverse: Zeus enthroned left, holding eagle and scepter; wreath at left, ΔI under throne. Price 2949; Müller 550. Reverse a little off center, but Herakles stylish and in high relief. Lightly toned, with some residual luster. Very Fine.
