This medal commemorates the marriage of the Electoral Prince of hanover, afterwards George II of England, with the daughter of John Frederick, Margrave of Brandenburg-Anspach, afterwards Queen Caroline, at the Palace of Herrenhausen, Hanover. Bust of Prince George right, Flammae Felices (Happey are the nuptials) below. Reverse: Bust of Princess Caroline right. Beautifully toned. Choice Extremely Fine.
