Great Britain. Shilling, ND. S.2482. Edward VI, 1547-1553. Fine-silver issue (1551-53). Facing bust. Bust variety without jewels in collar. Similar in overall quality to the Spink plate coin. Light to medium gray toning, some golden highlights, on a full flan with sharply detailed legends (although the tun mintmark is flat on both sides), almost complete outer beaded circles, the only detriments being a few faint ancient scratches in the obverse field. Choice Extremely Fine.
