1862 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. NGC graded Proof 63. The satin-like gleam of frost on the devices is safe and sound from most hairlines of measurable size on this toned Proof. Far from the normal example, this issue shows a respectable amount of detail throughout although there are a few signs of weakness to the strike (the obverse stars are flat at left and top). On the reverse, there are some light contact marks in the field. Only 550 proofs issued. Lightly toned. Pop 22.
