Berlin, Irving (1888-1989) Prodigious American composer and lyricist. Autograph Letter Signed "Irving," 2pp, 7¾x5", n.p., n.d. (1924). To Eunice (Emery), on "being back into harness for a couple of weeks," asking her to keep him informed "as to 'going's on' at the two INNS - JUNGLE and PEACOCK….," offering to have his letter translated into English if she can't read it, and other humorous remarks. With a telegram announcing his arrival in Palm Beach, and a small card: "with best wishes for a speedy up and out. Irving Berlin."
