Rodin, Auguste (1840-1917) One of the greatest and most prolific sculptors of the 19th and 20th centuries. Photograph Inscribed and Signed, "en hommage a Mlle Mabel Beardsley / Aug. Rodin / 6 juillet 1909," on the left side of the mount. The three-quarter, oval-shaped image is 6¼x5". Fine except for a couple of tiny specks to the image; dampstain across lower edge of mount, and a small one at top edge can be covered by matting and framing. Also signed by the photographer, "Henri Manny / Paris."
