Rockefeller, John D (1839-1937) Guiding force behind the Standard Oil Company; philanthropist. Stock Certificate for 100 shares in Rockefeller's name of Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway Company, signed on the verso by him 21 Sept. 1891 when he transferred the stock to Arnold Fox, 7¼x11½". Very good; the word "Railway" is missing from the title; age toning to margins. Green and cream certificate with an attractive railroad vignette.
