Homer, Winslow. Various Steel Engravings For Harper's Weekly. Four mid to late 19th century steel engravings, made by Homer for the popular magazine: "News From The War --Drawn by Our Special Artist, Mr. Winslow Homer," (various war scenes, one showing Homer drawing Civil War soldiers); "General View of the Central Park, New York," (June 16, 1860); four panels on one sheet showing scenes from Thanksgiving Day (published Nov. 27, 1858); "Scenes In And Around San Francisco, California," (published Feb. 2, 1884--several Chinatown scenes plus Redwoods, an underground drinking cellar with a stock indicator, etc.). The sheets are each approximately 16x23" and are matted to 22x28". Very good condition; expected toning and small marginal tears, not affecting images.
