(Gladky, Serge). Art Book: Nouvelles Compositions Decoratives 1ere Serie. Introduction by Georges Rémon (Paris: Editions d'Art Charles Moreau) [1931], 45 pochoir color plates by Gladky, loose as issued in publisher's cloth-covered folder. Vibrant colors and fanciful designs of sea life, insects and birds, primarily achieved through hand stenciling. Covers are worn and spine damaged, but the plates have only light toning to borders. Gladky was a French architect, designer, and graphic artist known primarily for his Cubist style. Accompanied by a booklet: "The Stencil Art of Pochoir: An Exhibition of French Color Prints, 1920-1930…." (Princeton University Library, 1982). Also, a 1983 catalogue from Leonard Fox Ltd. Rare Books in New York listing Nouvelles Compositions….
