Poems Written Between the Years 1768 & 1794 By Philip Freneau, 1793. Published in Monmouth, New Jersey and printed at the author's press, 8¼x5", 456pp. Freneau was a well-known American poet and many of the poems are of patriotic sentiment, including poems honoring Gen. Washington, the American Ship Alliance, Gen. Arnold' departure from American, etc. Original polished boards and newly rebacked spine; new gold gilt stampted titled and date.
