1732 Ship's Paper. Vellum document Signed "By the Commissioners for Executing the Office of Lord High Admiral…of all His Majesty's Plantations" authorizing the sloop "Maryanne of Boston Temple Chevallier Master…bound for Canso and from there to the Streights….," 16½x11", Boston, 10 Aug. 1732. With attractive nautical engravings and two embossed tax stamps. Good condition; age toning; some ink transfer; one repaired tear at lower edge and a few edge chips. Matted and framed to 20½x15" and ready for display.
