King, Rufus (1755-1827) Fought at Lexington and Concord, and participated in the Siege of Boston; represented New York in the Senate from 1789 to 1796 and 1813 to 1825; was ambassador to the UK and a candidate for President and Vice President of the U.S. Cut Signature on 1¼x3¼" paper, n.p. (N.Y. is penned below in another hand), n.d. Very good; matted with an engraving to 12¾x10".
