Napoleon I. Document Signed "Bonaparte" as First Consul, 12x8¼", Paris 5 Thermidor Year 9 of the Republic (28 July 1801). Fine. Napoleon endorses a recommendation from the chief of the 3rd brigade of Hussards that Citizen Eysrich, a captain in that regiment, be given a place as captain in the gendarmerie, as a result of an infirmity he suffered in the war.
