1860 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 64 Cameo. Light even silver grey toning. A highly lustrous satiny frosted Proof with a nuance of original patina on both sides. Struck from mostly sharp dies that imported a nice smooth texture to the mirrors and clear Liberty and eagle main devices. Only 1,000 proofs issued, although reports are that many were later melted at the mint as unsold. Pop 7; 1 in 65 Cam; 2 in 66 Cam. (PCGS # 85556) .
