1844-O Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. NGC graded MS-62. Light gold and blue toning. Scarce date in mint state. As a class, New Orleans quarter dollars of the 1840s are somewhat scarce. When seen they are apt to be in worn grades or in low Mint State. The present piece is a pleasing exception. Pop 4; 1 in 63; 3 in 64 (PCGS # 5407) .
