Lot 676

1939 Mercury Dime. PCGS graded Proof 67. Wonderful golden toning on the obverse. Gorgeous with this degree of toning and fully reflective underneath with a near-perfect strike. Soft-edged devices and lettering throughout the centers are, curiously, typical on this 1939 issue from extensive die polishing; however, a small percentage of this year's production is found with enough convincing detail to be called "bold" and this is one such coin. Great eye appeal! (PCGS # 5074) .
Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,100.
