1859 Liberty Seated Dime. Transitional. NGC graded Proof 66. This high-end Gem is richly toned in mottled purple-blue toning over a base of silver-gray iridescence. There is also a blush of delicate powder-blue tinting along the lower left field. Direct angles reveal modest, yet appreciable brightness in the fields, and the striking detail is razor-sharp as well as splendidly frosted throughout. Free of distracting spots or marks, plus an attractively original appearance. Pop 26; 8 finer at NGC. (PCGS # 4749) .
