1929, $50 Federal Reserve Bank Note. PMG Gem New 66. . Fr-1880-B. . KL-2526. Desirable $50 denomination on New York. Signatures are those of Jones and Woods. Only 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Dollar notes were issued and all are now obsolete. The obligation is as Follows, "National Currency secured by United States bonds deposited with the Treasurer of the United States of America or by like deposit of other securities. The (name of bank and city) will pay to the bearer .on demand Dollars. Redeemable in lawful money of the United States at United States Treasury or at the bank of issue."

All are series of 1929 with signatures of Jones and Woods and with a brown seal that is larger than on the National Bank Notes preceding. In addition, the notes bear two signatures of the issuing Federal Reserve Bank, those of its Governor and Cashier, or of its Governor and Deputy Governor (N.Y.) or of its Governor and Asst. Deputy Governor (Chicago) or of its Governor and Controller (St. Louis).
