Great Britain. Unite, ND. S.2687; Fr-246. Charles I, 1625-1649. Tower Mint under the King, 1625-1642. Mint mark cross Calvary (struck 1625-1626) Group B. Second bust with ruff and armour. Reverse: Crowned square topped lightly garnished shield. A nice piece, sharply struck, with good surfaces, this is one of the more attractive types of Charles I Unite. The overall appearance of the coin is excellent. A fantastic portrait of the ill-fated King. This coin is in superb condition. Much original luster. PCGS graded AU-58.
