An Affordable Set of the Twelve Caesars, in Silver, Billon, and Bronze. All Caesars represented in silver, but for Caligula - an AE As (Sear II 1803), and Claudius, a Billon tetradrachm of Egypt (Sear II 1869, with Messalina reverse). The key coins, the Caesar (Sear II 1425), Otho (Sear II 2163), Vitellius (Sear II 2196), and the Tiberius ("Tribute Penny"), are all quite decent. Inspection suggested, for the variety of patinas, metal surfaces, conditions, etc. Lot of 12 coins. Coins range from Good to Nearly Very Fine.
