Byzantine Empire. Heraclius, 610-641 AD. Gold Semissus, Constantinople, struck 613-641 AD. Diademed, draped bust right. Reverse: Cross Potent on globe. SBC 785; D.O.C. 52b. Modest rim weakness, otherwise sharp centers. Highly lustrous fields, with light clashing seen on reverse. High quality example of type. ICG graded MS-63.
