Judaea Related: Roman Republic. A Plautius, 55 BC. AR Denarius. Head of Tyche right. Reverse: Figure right, kneeling by camel and holding up olive branch; legends, BACCHIVS, IVDAEVS. Hendin 741; Craw. 431/1. Denarius well struck and lustrous. The reverse perfectly centered, with full legends. Also, an interesting half denomination bronze of Nero, from Antioch, Syria, cut in half in antiquity: Laureate head right / Inscription within wreath (RPC 4308). Lot of 2 coins. Denarius Choice Very Fine.
