Lot 1828

1885-CC Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-66. 1st generaton holder. Nice light blue and gold obv toning. Silver-white satin luster is normally the way 1885-CC dollars come; however, this piece breaks the tradition in that it displays marvelous fresh-appearing color. Struck with systematic exactness throughout excepting the usual weak areas in the center such as the hair and eagle's breast, it is destined to adorn a gem set of Morgan silver dollars (PCGS # 7160) .
Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,200.

Realized $2,473
