Warm golden accents with abundant frost.; some might mistake it for a commoner issue from the mid to late 1840s with this sharpness and detail, but in reality, the 1840-D date possesses much greater rarity. Nether is there any embarrassment of marks or rim problems; in fact, the opposite is true, this has resplendent surfaces and visual appeal that exemplifies the high grade and coin's stature.
