Robust Juglet in Light Green Glass. Roman, 3rd to early 5th century AD. This vessel is blown from a thick leaf green glass. The funnel mouth has a heavy rolled rim, the neck longish, the globular body indented six times around. At neck and underneath mouth, trailed threading. At the side, an applied handle in darker glass. The vessel intact and choice, with intense green and coppery-gold iridescence on one side of body. Height: 4-1/2". Nice.
