A Massive Cylindrical Bottle. Roman, 3rd-4th century AD. Thickly blown in green glass, the bottle a tall cylinder with broad neck, and rounded everted rim. Intact and without any of the age cracks often seen in thick glass. With areas of muted to bright iridescence, and calcareous patina. Height: 13-1/4".
