Swanson, Gloria (1897-1983) Star of silent films. One of the great screen personalities, she received three Academy Award nominations. Two Edwin Bower Hesser original vintage photographs, 13¼"x10¼" and 14"x11" The first is marked for cropping; it has Hesser's embossed blind stamp at lower left, as well as his backstamp. Diagonal crease at upper left. The other photo is a three-quarter seated, left-profile portrait with Hesser's backstamp; some edge damage, not affecting the image.
