Ricksen, Lucille (1909-1924) A child model who was given roles much older than her age. She was voted a WAMPAS Baby Star in 1923 and played opposite actors such as Jack Pickford and Sydney Chaplin. She died tragically, supposedly from tuberculosis, at the tender age of 15. Two Edwin Bower Hesser original vintage 14"x11" photographs, both with Hesser's backstamp. She wears a scarf and a pearl bracelet. One of the photos has an unfortunate blemish across part of Miss Ricksen's mouth and right cheek; the other is fine.
